Wii The Beatles: Rock Band - Software Only

Dedicating a Rockband game to a single band is an intereseting concept. If the makers were to start with one, the Beatles are a choice that is hard to argue with.

I personally felt they did a decent job when selecting the tracks. Of course there are many more that I would like to have on here, but with the breadth of music the Beatles put out, any track list would be subject to debate.

I was also highly amused to see my 8 and 9 year old children playing guitar and singing "Day Tripper" and "Dear Prudence". They are now Beatle fans, and that is a good thing, in my opinion.

The one downside to this, which I knew coming in, is that it lacks much guitar playing. Or said differently, I found guitar on the game to be extremely easy. I consider myself a slightly above par RB guitarist, but I was able to breeze through all the songs on Expert level with little challenge. Consequently, if you are looking to be challenged on guitar--this game is probably not for you.

by the way im 11. the beatles game is very good. you can play as any of the beatles if you have the guitar you can play as john,paul,or harrison. if you have the drums you can play as ringo. and if you have the microphone you can play as the singer. this game has very many beatles songs. but if your favorite isnt on here if you have internet on your wii you can download songs for 2 dollars.

if you love the beatles you must get this. it is in my opinion way better than any other rock band or guitar hero game. as it also has if i can remember no bad language but according to the rating it contains a tobacco reference. but thats nothing you should be conserned about. also the songs you download you use your wii points.

overall this is a very good game.

Has potential to be so good but flops. I'm a fan of the Beatles and memorized most of their songs, however, most of the songs on Beatles Rock Band are less famous titles to include shameless covers the Beatles didn't write. Completely ridiculous. After the 3rd or 4th chapters, where I'm guessing the Beatles started tripping acid, the songs become nothing more than laborious and you just sit through them strumming the same chords over and over again, even on expert, until the music stops. You sit there hoping that after finishing the 6-song sets that you may see a new set with songs you may know. But much to my disappointment, it was just another set of little known songs and wasted time. Its like when they started reselling the White Album. People said, wow retro Beatles songs, gotta get it, I'll look like i know something about music. But people maybe recognized 3 songs from the whole album, much as in Beatles Rock Band

Love this game. The best band ever has their own game can't beat that. Great DLC library but wish there was more!

Great game, lots of songs fun to play because most people know all the of the Beatles songs. Great to play with family and friends!
